  • The park is under construction. When will there be construction work?

The park is currently under construction on the third and final phase. The phase is expected to be completed at the end of 2020 and consists of the construction of homes 200 to 225, 243 to 246 and 262. The construction activities can vary greatly in intensity and per period. Naturally, efforts are made to limit the inconvenience. There are no construction activities on public holidays and Sundays, in the evening and night hours.

  • Where can I find the map?

  • Is there Wi-Fi in the park?

Free Wi-Fi is available for guests in every home. The log-in details can be found in the houses.

  • Can I park my car at the accommodation?

It is not allowed to park at the houses, except during the unloading and loading of luggage (on your arrival and departure day). Guests can park their cars in the parking spaces at the edges of the park, with a maximum of two vehicles per accommodation.

  • When is the reception open?

Guests can go to the reception at Vrijheidsweg 1 (which is also the reception of Holiday Park De Klepperstee). We are always available by phone (24/7 for emergencies). Click here for our current opening hours and contact details.

  • Where can I read the general terms and conditions?

When making a reservation you agree to our terms and conditions. These conditions can be found under the heading ' colophon '.

  • Is there a minimum age for making a reservation?

To make a reservation, the main booker must be 21 years or older. We do not accept stag or hen parties or similar events. From 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM there has to be silence in the park.

  • When can I check in and when do I have to check out?

Guests are welcome in their home on the day of arrival from 3:00 PM. On the day of departure, they must leave no later than 10:00 AM. On departure from the house, we kindly request guests to leave the house broom clean, hand in the household waste at the waste collection points, collect the bed linen and bath linen and leave the dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, etcetera empty.

  • Who are you?

Ridderstee Ouddorp Duin is part of Klepperstee BV, a family business which was started more than fifty years ago by Ludovic den Hollander. A team of permanent and seasonal employees is available day and night for guests at Holiday Park De Klepperstee, Campsite De Magneet, Drive-In Camperpark and Ridderstee Ouddorp Duin. The recreation company is the initiator of Strand Resort Ouddorp Duin and Strandplein Ouddorp Duin.


Accommodations

  • Can I bring my dog?

Pets are allowed in the park, provided they are kept on a leash. There is a limited number of houses in the park where pets are allowed.

  • What facilities does my accommodation have?

At Ridderstee Ouddorp Duin there are homes for 6, 8 or 10 people in a luxury or comfort version. Two different styles have been used for the interior; this depends on the specific home. Some houses have a so-called owner's storage room or bedroom on the ground floor: these rooms are closed to tenants.

  • Why do I not have a shade screen at my home?

In the storm season (end of October - beginning of April) the shade screens are removed. It is also possible for shade screens to be removed preventively during storms.

  • Can I book an extra high chair or cot?

When booking the house, a so-called addition-step is included for a children's bed or an extra high chair. Standard there is one high chair in every home. The cot does not include ( children's) bed linen.

  • Can I book a specific home?

You can select a home on the map based on availability.

  • Something is missing or broken in my accommodation.

Report this to the reception as soon as possible during opening hours. For (major) malfunctions we are available 24 hours a day.

  • Can I have a BBQ in the park?

Use of BBQ is allowed as long as it does not cause nuisance or inconvenience. Making an open fire is not allowed.

  • May I set off fireworks at the park at New Year's Eve?

We ask our guests not to set off fireworks at the park because of the presence of pets, the thatched roofs and vulnerable nature in the park. At other times of the year, setting off fireworks is not allowed anyway.

  • When will I receive additional information about arrival, etcetera?

A few days before arrival you will receive the latest information about your stay at Ridderstee Ouddorp Duin via e-mail. If you have any questions about your reservation and/or stay at the park, you can always call or e-mail.


Facilities

  • Which facilities are at the park?

Ridderstee Ouddorp Duin is a playful area where guests, young and old, have the freedom to play in and enjoy nature. The park itself has no separate facilities.

- Ouddorp Duin
We refer our guests to the beach square Ouddorp Duin (600 meters) with a restaurant, supermarket, shops, theater, indoor playground, bicycle rental, surf shop and a play dune.

- Klepperstee
Guests of Ridderstee Ouddorp Duin also have access to Holiday Park Klepperstee through a private entrance. This holiday park has a bistro, indoor play ground, indoor garden and a natural swimming pond. Both at Ouddorp Duin and at the Holiday Park Klepperstee, your (grand)children are welcome to join the joint recreation program.

  • Am I Allowed to swim in the ponds at the park?

In the park, there are several water features. Even though the temptation is sometimes great, it is not permitted to swim, boat or fish in these water features. Also, pets are not permitted in the water features. Please note that these water features are not fenced.

  • Where can I do my errands?

At strandplein Ouddorp Duin is a Spar Enjoy Supermarket with a wide range of products. The supermarket is open seven days a week. It is also possible to order groceries online and pick it up or have it delivered.

  • Do you rent bikes?

No, however, at strandplein Ouddorp Duin is RentTourBuy. You can view the complete product range and make a reservation via , the website.

If there Is a life-threatening situation, always call 112 immediately and mention the location Ridderstee. In addition, we ask you to always contact us, during opening hours of the reception or in the evening/night hours, the emergency number of the Technical Service (06-50637684).

Our employees have followed an emergency response training and we will always come to your location to provide you or your fellow guests with first aid and to accompany the emergency services to the home.
