Natural swimming pond 

As a guest of Ridderstee Ouddorp Duin, you are very welcome to use the facilities of the adjacent Vacation Park De Klepperstee. One of the most popular facilities is the beautiful natural swimming pond – an ideal spot to relax and cool off on hot days. The swimming pond is purified 100% naturally. Thanks to hundreds of aquatic plants along the banks, the water is continuously filtered. In addition, an advanced UV filter installation provides extra cleaning. As a result, the water contains no chlorine or other chemicals, which ensures an environmentally-friendly and skin-friendly swimming experience. Please note: the water is not heated.

The swimming pond is completely fenced in and consists of three separate pools, each with its own depth:

• The first pool is 40 centimeters deep; perfect for small children.
• The second pool has a depth of 80 centimeters; suitable for kids who are comfortable and quick in the water.
• The third pool is 140 centimeters deep and ideal for adults or experienced swimmers.

The two deeper pools have handy steps for safe access to the water.

Surrounding the pond, you will find a wooden deck and an adjacent grass field where you can sunbathe, read, or relax. Whether you choose a refreshing dip or a relaxing afternoon by the water, this natural swimming pond offers something for everyone.

The natural swimming pond is constantly developing to continue to offer you a safe and pleasant swimming experience. To give the water and surrounding nature the necessary rest and time to recover, the pond is closed every Monday during the day. In addition, extra closing days may be required occasionally for maintenance or ecological restoration. These temporary closures are part of the sustainable character of the pond and do not entitle you to a refund or compensation.

Relax in the sauna near the swimming pond

At the swimming pond, you can enjoy a wonderful sauna; perfect to make your stay extra relaxing. The sauna is suitable for a maximum of 4 people per session and can be easily booked at the reception.

• Hours: between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Duration per session: 60 minutes
• Cost: free for guests of Ridderstee Ouddorp Duin
